Who says cooking can't be funny? No, I'm not talking smoke alarm pizza, more like Scalped Potatoes with an embarassed hotdog as the barber instead of scalloped potatoes and hot dogs. When I think of sweet and sour pork I see a grumpy pig and a sweet tempered pig. Split peas? Not for me, how about a pod of peas splitting the scene. I don't know about anyone else but I sure had fun with this little project.
Most of the food images are fairly recent and more utilitarian in nature, however, so they can be applied to embroidery and other art projects. Make food pyramid lesson plans or face masks so kids can literally wear their food. Could be a fun and educational time for all.
