Dragons are winged creatures portrayed in the ancient mythologies of most cultures around the world.
The legends of dragons tie in with mythologies of winged gods from the heavens who came to Earth to create the human race.
Dragons are very important symbols in many cultures today.
Materials: construction paper, thick yarn or paper fasteners (available at office supply shops or department stores) scissors, glue, markers or crayons, wooden sticks or paper tubes (such as from gift wrapping paper, etc.).
Print all sections of this dragon on cardstock paper. Print many copies of the body section for a longer dragon. Use hole punch to connect the sections with yarn or paper fasteners. Make sure the sections are somewhat loose so that the dragon will wiggle with movement. Glue or staple sticks to various sections of the dragon's body for children to hold. Dragon can be made for one child or many children to enjoy!
