Great, educational fun for children. All you need to get started is a pair of scissors, a piece of paper, a Scissor Craft pattern, a few quick folds, and voilà you've got an envelope, a basket or an elephant!
Make a cardboard tube candy holder with toilet paper tubes or paper towel and gift wrap tubes cut into 3 or 4 inch sections.
Materials needed:
Cut the crepe paper into 20"x10" inch sections.
Spread out one section of crepe paper and crimp or stretch the longer edges with your fingers.
Wrap the crepe paper around one tube and tie one end with a length of ribbon to secure the bottom of the tube.
Fill the tube with candy or other treats. Tie the other end of the tube with ribbon then fluff the crepe paper to form "flowers" at each end.
Curl the ribbon ends with the flat edge of a scissor blade. Make a ribbon carrying handle by tying two end pieces of ribbon together in the center of the candy holder.
