People Child Craft Activities, Sports and Play
Now and then I get a humerous thought and an urge to illustrate a funny cartoon. I'm no cartoonist, but certainly some of these silly ideas might garner a chuckle or two. A couple of them actually made it into the college newspaper many decades ago when I was a budding young student.
The cartoon of a vision impaired man with a cane came about while I did a little volunteer work for the iowa Commission of the Blind making some visual props for meetings.
I illustrated the cartoon of the woman holding the door closed against a gang of school's out kids while I operated a day care center out of my home. Some days are just like that, you know?
Santa's plate came about as another game I designed for children. At the time there was a company trying to sell cookies online and I asked if I could use her wonderful cookie images in the game. To my delight she said yes, but alas, her website didn't survive the Internet dog pile and the little business went bust.
